About Nervous Theatre

nervous
theatre
Nervous Theatre is a theatrical collective dedicated to producing and touring new works and radically reimagined classics. We grew out of the Boston Conservatory where our founding members met.
Nervous Theatre is based in Bozeman, MT.
WE ARE INTERESTED IN:
questioning theatrical forms
subverting audience expectations
challenging conventional use of space and physicality
WE ARE COMMITTED TO:
making theatre that is accessible, affordable, and inclusive
creating experiences that exploit and celebrate the "liveness" of theatre
bringing our work to a wide variety of communities
“work on the nerves of the audience, not their intellect.”
-Samuel Beckett
