About Nervous Theatre

nervous
theatre
Nervous Theatre is a theatrical collective creating ensemble-driven new works and radically reimagined classics.
As a nomadic company, our work is created and presented across the country with roots in Bozeman, Boston, and the Twin Cities.

NERVOUS THEATRE has a knack for modern storytelling. Remarkably complicated direction comes across as simple and effortless thanks to the brilliant cast and beautiful design.
An electrifying company that I will be
sure to keep a close eye on!

WE ARE INTERESTED IN:
WE ARE COMMITTED TO:
creating ensemble-based collaborations
celebrating and exploiting
the 'liveness' of theatre for all its physical and communal possibilities
making adventurous theatre that is accessible, affordable, and inclusive
celebrating and centering queer voices
“work on the nerves of the audience, not their intellect.”
