About Nervous Theatre
Nervous Theatre is a repertory company dedicated to producing and touring new works and radically reimagined classics. We are a rootless theatrical collective that grew out of the Boston Conservatory where our founding members met.
WE ARE INTERESTED IN:
questioning theatrical forms
subverting audience expectations
challenging conventional use of space and physicality
WE ARE COMMITTED TO:
making theatre that is accessible, affordable, and inclusive
creating experiences that exploit and celebrate the "liveness" of theatre
bringing our work to a wide variety of communities
“work on the nerves of the audience, not their intellect.”
