Kenzi Allen

Kenzi is a local theater artist and teacher specializing in movement, experimental performance, mask, and devised theatre. Twin Cities credits include The Moving Company, Guthrie Theatre, Children’s Theatre Company, Four Humors, Red Bird Theatre, Walking Shadow, and devised work directed by Jon Ferguson. Kenzi is a founding company member for The Missing Theatre, UK. Training École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq, Flöz Akademie with Familie Flöz, The Burlesk Center with Pierre Byland and Mareike Schnitker, Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre, University of Minnesota, SPCPA.

Connor Berkompas

Connor is a theatre-maker and teaching artist residing in the Twin Cities. He is the founding artistic director of NERVOUS THEATRE, directing and performing in the world premieres of A MARVELOUS PARTY (Surel's Place), STRANGE MATING CALLS (Tinworks Art), MOMMY'S DEAD AND THEY BURIED HER IN MOSCOW (Ellen Theater), as well as a touring productions of CHALK CIRCLE and THE MAIDS. Other directing work has been presented by Montana Theatreworks, Warren Miller Performing Arts Center, Gloucester Stage, and American Coast Theater.

Alexandra Bodnarchuk

Alexandra is a Carpatho Rusyn American choreographer and cultural activist. 

She’s danced with Ethnic Dance Theater and Black Label Movement, and recently guested with Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Ensemble.

She is a 2021 Ann & Weston Hicks Choreography Fellow at Jacob’s Pillow and a 2022 & 2020 Jerome Hill Artist Fellow Finalist (Jerome Foundation).

As the Artistic Director and choreographer for Doma Dance Theater she creates works for the stage and screen that draw together her cultural background with contemporary movement practices. Her work has been commissioned by Arena Dances, The Museum of Russian Art, Threads Dance Project, and Alternative Motion Project. 

Dylan James

Dylan is a founding member of Nervous Theatre. Recent projects with Nervous Theatre include The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Strange Mating Calls, Mommy's Dead and They Buried Her in Moscow, and the 2020 tour of The Maids. Other theatre projects include Hedwig and the Angry Inch with Theatre Out of Bounds and Rat Queen Theatre Company’s Judy Doomed Us All (Ice Factory) where he created the role of Nancy Reagan.

Annabella Joy

Annabella is a Montana based theatre maker and Nervous Theatre founding member. Previous Nervous works include A MARVELOUS PARTY, STRANGE MATING CALLS, MOMMY'S DEAD AND THEY BURIED HER IN MOSCOW, and THE MAIDS. She is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre, and now resides in Bozeman practicing theatre and teaching voice. AnnabellaJoy.com

Marcela Michelle

Marcela is a transdisciplinary artist, educator, facilitator, and producer living and working on Mni Sota Makoce. Her expansive practice engages a wide array of mediums and disciplines. She is a 2023-2025 Jerome Hill Artist Fellow (Combined Artistic Fields), a 2020-2022 Hennepin Theatre Trust Teaching Artist in Residence, a 2019 Mentee of the National Institute for Directing and Ensemble Creation, and a member of Actor’s Equity. Marcela was the Artistic Director of 20% Theatre Company from 2019-2021, an Artistic Co-Director of Lightning Rod from 2018-2024, and is currently the Resident Dramaturg for Doma Dance Theater and a Beverage Co-Director with Mamasan Bartending Collective.

Brandon Musser

Brandon Anderson Musser is from Pittsburgh, PA and is a son of a saxophonist truck driver & a union head nurse. He composes music and designs sound for dance and theater. Notable credits reflect service as artistic associate to Alexandra Bodnarchuk Dance Projects, composer and sound designer to the Taja Will Ensemble, technical work for Hatch Dance, and design for Marcela Michelle. He is the Producing Artistic and Music Director of Doma Dance Theater. 

Occasionally he creates solo work.

Yukina Sato

Yukina is a Japanese dancer, choreographer, and filmmaker whose work explores movement and storytelling through cultural hybridity. Her projects reflect the experience of living between cultures and often incorporate live performance. She has collaborated with acclaimed artists including Abby Zbikowski, Carl Flink, Crystal Perkins, and Bebe Miller. As co-founder of YY Dance+Media, she creates multimedia performances. Her work Motion of Seeing premiered at the Detroit Dance City Festival and received the 2023 National Exchange Award. Yukina holds an MFA in Dance from The Ohio State University and currently serves as Assistant Professor of Dance at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Isabel Shaida

Isabel works as a movement director, performer, and teacher in Bozeman, MT.  She was an artist in the 2018/19 SITI Conservatory program, and has also trained and performed with Double Edge Theatre (The Odyssey) and Monica Bill Barnes & Company (Days Go By). Credits include Nervous Theatre’s Chalk Circle and A Marvelous Party;  Open House (Boise); Stand Stark Still (Bozeman); and Late, A Cowboy Song (Livingston). In 2024, she taught a summer-long exploration of Mary Overlie’s Six Viewpoints as part of Tinwork Arts’ exhibition The Lay of The Land.
